Family Movie Night 6/27

Join us for our monthly Family Night screening on Saturday, June 27th!

For June, we will be watching the 1996 Matilda, based on Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book.  Families are welcome to attend this movie screening about a gifted young girl who realizes she is more powerful than she thinks. Matilda’s journey is filled with self-acceptance and friendship, along with the comfort of found families.

This movie screening also fufills an activity for the “Adult Summer Reading Adventure”! The Adult Summer Reading Adventure brochure includes several fun challenges to fulfill this summer. If you complete one of the challenges, you can win a free water bottle. If you complete the whole brochure, you will be entered into the raffle for the grand prize. This adult summer challenge is only at participating branches, so stop by the Port Richmond Library to get your brochure and complete challenges today! Las familias pueden asistir a esta proyección sobre una niña talentosa que se da cuenta de que es más poderosa de lo que cree. El folleto de la “Aventura de Lectura de Verano para Adultos” incluye varios retos divertidos para completar este verano. Si completa uno de los retos, puede ganar una botella de agua gratis. Si completa el folleto completo, participará en el sorteo del gran premio.
